Worked there as a crew member for Bossier Parish EMS. At one time the ambulance crew was the only 24 hour crew at the station. Now a full time fire crew is there as well 24 hours a day. The station houses a pump, tanker, rescue truck, dive boat, sprint truck, and a brush truck for the fire district. A front line ALS medic unit and a back up medic unit for Bossier Parish EMS who is the third service ambulance provider for all of Bossier Parish outside the city limits of Bossier City, La. are also housed in this station. The fire district has several unmanned satellite stations and is in the process of putting a second manned station in service. It is a combination department consisting of full time as well as volunteer staff.
